Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Ford F-250 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Reese gooseneck puck system. This system is going to be a great solution if you didn't get the puck system from the factory and you wanted one, or if you're looking for a truck on the market that doesn't have one, that's not the end of the world. You don't have to look for a truck that has it just to be able to get these same features. This system is going to be almost identical to the Ford factory puck system. You're gonna have the four pucks on the outside, which will accept your fifth wheel hitches, and then you'll have the gooseneck hole in the middle so that you can drop a gooseneck ball in there and be able to tow gooseneck trailers. more

Pretty convenient now, these late model trucks are coming equipped right from the factory with these prep packages. So it makes, you know, setting up a goose ball kit like this or even a fifth wheel for that matter, really convenient. You know, you drop 'em in and that's really all there is to it. With that said, this kit is going to work with trucks that have a long bed or a short bed like ours today so you're in good shape there and if your truck doesn't happen to have a prep package, there's a lot of other hitches available for those types of trucks that'll let you set up and be able to pull your gooseneck or your fifth wheel trailer. more

So it's pretty convenient nowadays, a lot of these late model trucks are coming with these prep packages, which makes setting up a goose ball kit like this one or even a 5th wheel for that matter, really easy 'cause they just drop right into place and you're good to go. This particular kit is going to work with trucks that have a long bed or a short bed like ours does today. So you're in good shape there. And if your truck, you know, isn't equipped with this prep package, not a big deal. more

So I think it's really cool that Ford started doing this in some of their trucks, putting this prep package in. It makes it super easy not only to use a goose ball system like this Curt one here, but a fifth wheel as well, since you really don't need to install anything, don't hardly take any time. and more or less the parts just kind of drop right into place. This particular kit is going to be good for 38,000 pounds, which I believe is the most heavy duty kit available for this truck. more

So I think it's really cool that Ford and some of the other manufacturers started putting these factory prep packages in in the more heavy-duty trucks. And it makes sense. It makes using a goose ball system like this one here, or even a fifth wheel for that matter, extremely easy, considering that these essentially just kind of drop right into place. This particular kit is going to be rated for 30,000 pounds and have a 2 5/16 diameter ball, which pretty much is standard for the gooseneck trailers. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose underbed gooseneck kit on a 2018 Ford F-250. You should be able to cover just about any camper and most heavy duty industrial loads whether it be heavy equipment or whatever else you may load up. Now the Hide-A-Goose is an interesting system. A lot of times on your fifth wheel, you're gonna have a lever on the side of the truck and that's gonna allow you to lock and unlock the ball in there. Now, some of those can get a little funky and they seem to hang up sometimes, whereas this is a little bit different. more

B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the B&W under bed goose neck kit on a 2022 Ford F-350. Now this kit installs underneath your bed allowing you to hook up to your goose neck, and the ball is gonna be nice and easy to remove and whenever you need to actually use this, you're just gonna drop it in place, and then the handle on the side is gonna allow you to lock that in. But the great part is, is normally with some other goosenecks, you're having to find a spot to keep the ball and normally it's gonna be having grease all over it and that's kind of normal to keep that nice and clean, but the problem is you gotta store it somewhere. So in order to get all of your bed access, you can see this is nice and flush, even with our safety chains here, it's as simple as dropping this in upside down. Either way, you can see there's holes on both sides and that way this is gonna be nice and flush, it's gonna lock in place and your ball's gonna be ready to use it whenever you need it. So whenever you are ready to hook up, super easy, there's a little handle here to pull this up, you'll simply just flip it over, drop this in place, lock it in, and you're ready to go. more

Now this gooseneck kit is rated at 30,000 pounds and it's got a vertical limit of 7,500 so this is gonna be pretty heavy duty. So whatever you're be pulling with your gooseneck, they should hold up to it. Now you're gonna wanna check to see what your vehicle's capable before just hooking up to anything. But overall with those numbers, this is not gonna be the weak point of your towing system. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the B&W Turnover Ball Underbed Gooseneck Kit on at 2022 Ford F250. So now when you are ready to hook up to your gooseneck, you simply just take the ball and drop this in and it can go either way, doesn't matter. The holes will line up and it's just gonna drop in and then you'll be able to latch that in place. Now, a great portion of the turnover ball is when you're not using it, you can just simply store it right here. That'll drop in and you can lock that in as well. It's also gonna make sure that the water channels through here and that way water doesn't sit in there. more

It's made of steel and it's chrome-plated. If you wanted to keep this nice and shiny, grab some grease and grease this up. But one thing I don't necessarily love about this is you probably wanna get some gloves 'cause when you lift this up, that's how we're gonna take it out. But if you have grease on it it might get your hands a little gross. more

Hi there, Ford owners. Today, on your 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install CURT's underbed gooseneck kit. And this is what our gooseneck kit looks like when it's installed. We've got our 2 5/16 ball at the center with nice chrome plating and chrome ring around it, so it looks good in our setup. And we've got our safety cable attachments located on each side. This gooseneck kit is rated for 7,500 pounds of tongue weight, which is the force going down on top of our ball, and 30,000 pounds gross towing, which is how much that it can pull behind it. more

Before we do that though, why don't we check it out and make sure that this is gonna be the right kit for you. So Ford really did knock it out of the park when they started putting these OEM prep packages in the trucks, just make sense. You know, a lot of people do some pretty heavy duty towing with these and, you know, Ford recognize that and really made it easy on us to be able to put a hitch back here. So this is what it's actually gonna look like installed in your truck bed. And you can see it sits pretty flush. So that's the great part about this system, is when you're ready to tow, you can just simply drop the ball in but for when you're not using it, it still lays flat. more

B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we are taking a look and installing the B&W underbed gooseneck trailer hitch with Turnoverball on a 2020 Ford F-250. With a 3/4-ton truck, it's really nice to be able to use the utility of it. And when you have a fifth wheel gooseneck, it's really gonna open that up with bumping that gross trailer weight to 30,000 pounds. So, that's gonna cover your campers or your heavy gooseneck trailers, so you can actually use your truck and rather than relying on just a hitch to pull, this is gonna bump that up quite a bit. Now, you also have a vertical tongue weight, and that's gonna be 7,500 pounds, so this is gonna hold quite a bit. more

Ford really did think things through, by having prep packages and these, f450's you know, the changes are pretty good. You got a truck this big, you're probably going to be pulling some big trailers. And so a prep package like this, it's going to make it super easy to utilize, a, ah you know, a gooseneck type, a ball, or even a fifth wheel for that matter. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on the vehicle. And as we can see here, the vast majority of it is actually hidden under our truck bed here. So this causes a couple of different things. Number one, we don't have to worry, look at that bulky hitch in the truck bed. And number two, when we're not towing, we can easily remove this hitch ball here for a completely clean and uninterrupted bed space. more

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Ford F-150- Video
Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck trailer hitch, here on a 2019 Ford F-150. So, our Turnoverball gooseneck trailer hitch is gonna be an excellent option for you to tow a gooseneck trailer with a 2 5/16-inch coupler. However, we can also easily use this underbed gooseneck hitch for fifth wheel trailers by also coupling this with one of the B&W Companion adapters. So, the B&W Companion, it mounts in the same place as the hitch ball. It simply drops into position and it provides you with an embed fifth wheel hitch for all your fifth wheel towing needs. This is available in both a standard fixed version and a sliding version for those short bed trucks as well. more
